City of Burnie Brass Band

The band is located at Parsonage Point (near the Penguin Observation Site) and is sign posted as such.

The band holds practice on Thursdays at 8 PM. Former players and any visitors are most welcome to attend.

If you are a learner the band welcomes you to join and practice at 7 PM on Thursdays when a Learners group practices.

You do not need your own instrument! The band will allocate you one for home practice. All teaching is free. In time when you are proficient enough a band uniform will be allocated to you and you become a fully fledged member. Like all clubs there is a small annual subscription (Learners $70, Seniors $90 and Family's $150). This allows the band to maintain instruments, uniforms, and also to buy new music as required.
